TEMECULA: Man dies after suffering medical emergency in Walmart parking lot

TEMECULA — An elderly man died after suffering a medical emergency in the parking lot of a Temecula Walmart Supercenter, early Monday evening, Dec. 18. The Walmart is located on the 32000 block of Temecula Parkway.

Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Temecula Police Station responded to the Walmart at 5:38 p.m., after receiving a 911 call reporting an elderly man who was suffering from “medical issues” inside his vehicle in the Walmart parking lot, Riverside Sheriff’s Sergeant Robert Menchaca explained after the incident.

When deputies and other emergency first responders arrived, they found the victim suffering an unspecified medical emergency.

“Lifesaving procedures were administered by Cal Fire paramedics on scene,” said Menchaca.

American Medical Response medics transported the man to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his medical emergency and was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.

The victim’s name has not been released, pending notification of the man’s family.

No foul play is suspected in this incident, according to Menchaca.

Trevor has been married for more than 27 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and has 13 children and 14 grandchildren.
