One in custody after MV stabbing, victim recovering
MORENO VALLEY — A man was arrested after allegedly stabbing another man in Moreno Valley early Monday morning, Aug. 27. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and is recovering after being hospitalized, according to officials.

Deputies from the Moreno Valley Police Station were dispatched to the 24900 block of Eucalyptus Ave. just before 2 a.m., after receiving reports of an assault with a deadly weapon, according to Riverside Sheriff’s spokesperson Deputy Robyn Flores.
When officers arrived they found an adult male who had been stabbed. The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to a local area hospital.
During their subsequent investigation deputies identified and located a man who allegedly stabbed the victim. Deputies conducted an in-field line up and the alleged suspect was positively identified and arrested.
Neither men have been identified publicly and sheriff’s officials have not released any additional information.

During his time with the sheriff’s department, Trevor worked at several different stations; including Robert Presley Detention Center, Southwest Station in Temecula, Hemet/Valle Vista Station, Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center, and Lake Elsinore Station; along with other locations.
Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.
Trevor has been married for more than 28 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 14 – but soon to be 16 – grandchildren.
