When deputies with the City of Shasta Lake’s Patrol Division arrived at the residence to conduct the compliance check they found the homeowner, 29-year-old, Monique Solorio, outside the residence.

When deputies attempted to enter Solorio’s home, several occupants inside the residence locked the door, leading to a brief standoff.

“After making numerous announcements to the occupants inside, entry into the residence was achieved,” Shasta County Sheriff officials later explained in a social media release about the incident and arrests.

Once deputies got into the residence they contacted three people, later identified as Kimberly Woodcock, 28, Brandon Lawrence, 33, Megan Seiler, 28.

Both Brandon Lawrence and Megan Seiler initially provided deputies with false names in attempt to conceal their identities,” SCSO explained.

Deputies determined Lawrence was on Post Release Community Supervision/PRCS and had at least one felony warrant for his arrest.

Deputies determined both Seiler and Woodcock were on probation in Shasta County and Woodcock had both felony and misdemeanor warrants for his arrest.

Solorio and all three subjects from inside the home were subsequently arrested.

City of Shasta Lake patrol deputies arrested 5 people during a probation compliance check at a home on the 1800 block of Shasta St.

“While checking the interior of the residence for other individuals, deputies located a hidden door in the floor of the living room area, explained SCSO. “The hidden door lead into a small crawl space where deputies located 28-year-old David Paul Jones.”

Investigating deputies determined Jones was also on PRCS probation and had three felony arrest warrants.

After Jones was removed from the crawl space deputies searched the small area and located a box of ammunition and stolen property related to a Redding PD case.

As a convicted felon, Jones is prohibited from possessing weapons or ammunition and he was also subsequently arrested for his warrants as well as the ammunition and stolen property discovered in the crawl space with him.

During a subsequent search of the residence deputies located what was believed to be methamphetamine and heroin, as well as hypodermic syringes, methamphetamine pipes, and other narcotic-related paraphernalia.

All the above subjects were eventually transported to the Shasta County Jail and booked on their warrants as well as new charges, according to SCSO, who said they will continue to conduct probation compliance checks in their areas “to verify those on probation are in compliance with their court ordered term.”
