In Today’s Lighter Side of the News…
– Thursday afternoon Officer Miller met Mr. Stultz and Ms. Frabasilio when he contacted them in a vehicle parked in the parking lot of a pretty popular store. Unfortunately for the couple, Mr. Stultz had a felony warrant and Ms.Lisa had some misdemeanor warrants, heroin and cocaine. He was taken to #CBCD and Lisa was cited and released at the scene for medical reasons.
– Thursday afternoon the #PPCT team was on patrol and contacted Frankey Sifuentes and Jose Garcia-Rodriguez during a traffic stop. Unfortunately they both had warrants and Frankey had narcotics paraphernalia so they both went to #thebyrdhouse.

– Sunday afternoon Officer Drootin conducted a check of an occupied vehicle that was parked in the parking lot of a big box store. #thatstoreisamagnet Officer Drootin found Brandy Sullivan and Jonathon Spirlong inside the vehicle. He also found their meth and narcotics paraphernalia.
– Sunday night Officer Gannuscio responded to a gas station to check on a male that was sleeping in his car. It turns out that Javier Arzola wasn’t taking a power nap, he was drunk and had passed out behind the wheel. #doIreallyhavetosayit
– Monday night Officers Hom and Huss were conducting follow up to an investigation in Lake Elsinore. While they were travelling on the SB15 freeway, they observed a vehicle lose control and spin out. The driver then reentered the freeway, almost hit a passing vehicle and continued driving. #likeitneverhappened The officers initiated a traffic stop to check the welfare of the driver. The driver, however, did not want to be checked on and decided to evade the officers. After a brief pursuit, the suspect vehicle yielded and David Tapparo was arrested for evading, obstruction and DUI.

Trevor Montgomery, 47, moved last year to the Intermountain area of Shasta County from Riverside County and runs Riverside County News Source and Shasta County News Source. Additionally, he writes for several other news organizations; including Riverside County based newspapers, Valley News, The Valley Chronicle, and Anza Valley Outlook; as well as Bonsall/Fallbrook Village News in San Diego County and Mountain Echo in Shasta County.
Trevor spent 10 years in the U.S. Army as an Orthopedic Specialist before joining the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department in 1998. He was medically retired after losing his leg, breaking his back, and suffering both spinal cord and brain injuries in an off-duty accident. During his time with the sheriff’s department, Trevor worked at several different stations; including Robert Presley Detention Center, Southwest Station in Temecula, Hemet/Valle Vista Station, Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center, and Lake Elsinore Station; along with other locations.
Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.
Trevor has been married for more than 28 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 15 – but soon to be 16 – grandchildren.
