Habitual front-yard masturbator arrested in La Quinta
LA QUINTA — A person whose neighbors claim the man was continuously seen masturbating in front of his La Quinta home was arrested Monday, Aug. 5, after officials were contacted and verified the man’s disturbing actions were taking place on a regular basis.

Deputies assigned to the La Quinta Sheriff Station’s Special Enforcement Team were alerted to the man’s alleged behavior Monday afternoon, at 4:38 p.m., Riverside Sheriff’s Sgt. David Aldrich reported after the man’s arrest.
SET members responded to the 52200 block of Avenida Ramirez regarding indecent exposure reports involving 46-year-old, La Quinta resident, Clarence William Bailey.

During their subsequent investigation deputies determined Bailey “was masturbating in front of his residence in view of the neighbors on multiple occasions,” explained Aldrich; who said, “Bailey was located at his residence and taken into custody.”
Based on their investigation, Bailey was booked into Riverside County Jail in Indio on suspicion of indecent exposure.
Online jail records indicate Bailey was cited and released within hours of his arrest. He is scheduled to be arraigned at Indio’s Larsen Justice Center, Oct. 24.

During his time with the sheriff’s department, Trevor worked at several different stations; including Robert Presley Detention Center, Southwest Station in Temecula, Hemet/Valle Vista Station, Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center, and Lake Elsinore Station; along with other locations.
Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.
Trevor has been married for more than 28 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 15 – but soon to be 16 – grandchildren.
