Stolen vehicle investigation leads to Perris chop shop – Seven arrested

PERRIS, Calif. — Authorities say the investigation into a stolen vehicle led deputies to discovering a Perris chop-shop with numerous vehicles in various stages of being dismantled.

Seven people were arrested when deputies served a stolen-vehicle related search warrant at a private residence on the 21000 block of Old Elsinore Rd.

Although the vehicle was quickly recovered, deputies learned it was missing several high-end tools.

“During the search of the property deputies located five stolen vehicles, two firearms, one generator, and numerous stolen tools,” explained Morando; saying, “The five vehicles were in different stages of being dismantled.”
