San Jacinto traffic stop yields meth, $27,000 & more

SAN JACINTO, Calif. — Saying, “Whoops we did it again,” in a social media release, San Jacinto Sheriff’s officials say a routine traffic stop led to a local man’s arrest after the driver was determined to be driving on a suspended license Wednesday afternoon, July 15.

“But this is where the story gets good,” officials continued, while going on to explain that the stop ultimately led to the discovery of a large amount of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, dozens of credit card blanks, a credit card making machine, and a rifle.

The man was also found to be in possession of more than $27,000 in US currency, according to sheriff’s officials.
