BELLA VISTA, Calif. — Officials have identified a Redding woman who died after a solo-vehicle rollover crash on SR-299E near Woodman Lane in Bella Vista, last Wednesday evening, Sept. 16.

“The subject was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency personnel,” Shasta County Chief Deputy Coroner Lt. Stonehouse reported today.

The victim was positively identified as 21-year-old Kaylee Savannah Wilson, of Redding, according to Stonehouse.

The case remains under investigation by the CHP and anyone who may have witnessed the accident is encouraged to contact CHP-Redding at (530) 225-0500. Callers can refer to incident file number 9135-2020-00633 and can remain anonymous.

BELLA VISTA, Calif. — Authorities say a woman was killed in a solo-vehicle, rollover crash when her car went off the road and overturned Wednesday evening, Sept. 16. Although the driver and sole occupant died at the scene, officials managed to rescue a puppy that was inside the vehicle when it overturned.

The deadly crash happened on SR-299E near Woodman Lane, between the unincorporated communities of Bella Vista and Oak Run.

California Highway Patrol and other emergency personnel who responded to the crash found a vehicle described by witnesses as a silver or grey passenger vehicle that overturned after leaving the roadway.

The woman killed in the rollover crash has not yet been publicly identified, pending notification of her family, according to CHP.

There were no known witnesses to the crash, according to CHP; who have reported it was not yet known why the vehicle went off the road.

While officials worked at the scene, officers implemented one-way traffic control to allow commuters and area residents to slowly work their way past the scene of the accident.

Trevor has been married for more than 30 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 18 grandchildren.
