When officials arrived they found a yellow Cadillac with heavy front-end damage, a white Subaru with heavy rear-impact damage and a silver Scion.

Although officials initially requested two ground ambulances and an air ambulance, the air ambulance was later cancelled when the victim’s injuries were found to be minor to moderate. It was not immediately clear if any of the victims required further medical treatment and hospitalization.

Traffic along the highway was moderately affected by the collision, but no significant delays in travel times were reported.

The wrecked vehicles were later towed from the scene and CHP’s investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
