AGUANGA : Thousands of dollars in property stolen from Aguanga recovered during Lake Elsinore search warrant

AGUANGA – An Oct. burglary from an Aguanga residence recently lead sheriff’s investigators to serve a search warrant in Lake Elsinore, where thousands of dollars in stolen property was reportedly recovered.
On November 28, investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Hemet Valle Vista Station received information that property reported as stolen was pawned at a pawn shop Lake Elsinore.
Investigators followed up on the leads and ultimately served a search warrant at a suspect’s residence on Grand Avenue in Lake Elsinore. During the service of that search warrant, several thousand dollars worth of stolen property were recovered from the residence.
Based on evidence recovered from the Lake Elsinore residence, Harold Cooper, 46-years-old from Lake Elsinore, was arrested for charges of burglary and possession of stolen property.
The following items stolen from one residential burglary that occurred in the 45000 Block of Highway 371, Aguanga on October 10, were not recovered and possibly sold at recent yard sales from the Grand Avenue residence:
- DR Power, 36” Sickle Bar Lawnmower
- DR Power, 48” power grader with drag screen.
- DR Power electric log splitter
