5 arrested during weapons and narcotics related search warrant in Perris

PERRIS – Deputies arrested five people during the service of a weapons and narcotics related search warrant, conducted in the 100 block of Perou Street, in the city of Perris, according to a sheriff official. The warrant was served on Wednesday, April 6.

Deputies from the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force – Region 6 and the Perris Police Station served the warrant at an apartment complex at about 7 a.m., Riverside County Sheriff’s Sergeant Bob McCalmont wrote in a press release.

Deputies serving the warrant detained five people from inside the residence. They also took at least one child into protective custody during the warrant service. No information was available regarding the child or children who were inside the residence when the early-morning warrant was served.

During the service of the warrant deputies located a loaded handgun, 1.43 ounces of methamphetamine and various items commonly used in the trafficking of narcotics, according to McCalmont. Deputies also located and seized evidence leading deputies to believe the drug trafficking was affiliated with a criminal street gang.

Following the warrant service and their investigation, deputies arrested Russell Alvon Wilkerson, 42, Rusty Alvon Wilkerson, 21, Stephanie Jeaninne Blocker, 49, Bianca Karian Dixon, 20, and Germain Aaron Stewart, 20, for a variety of felony charges. All five subjects are residents of Perris.

At the conclusion of their investigation, deputies transported Blocker, Dixon, Stewart and both Wilkersons to the Southwest Justice Center, where they were booked.

Russell Wilkerson was booked for suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale, maintaining a place for selling and using a controlled substance, being a narcotic addict in possession of a firearm, participating in a criminal street gang, being under the influence of a controlled substance, child endangerment and violation of probation. He is being held in lieu of $500,000.

Rusty Wilkerson was booked for suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale, maintaining a place for selling and using a controlled substance, participation in a criminal street gang, being under the influence of a controlled substance and child endangerment. He is being held in lieu of $500,000.

Blocker was booked for suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale, maintaining a place for selling and using a controlled substance, being a narcotic addict in possession of a firearm, participation in a criminal street gang, being under the influence of a controlled substance, criminal conspiracy, child endangerment and being a habitual criminal.

While being booked into jail, Blocker was found to be in possession of narcotics and three additional counts of attempting to smuggle a controlled substance into a jail facility were added to her charges. She is being held in lieu of $500,000.

Dixon was booked for suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale, maintaining a place for selling and using a controlled substance and child endangerment. She is being held in lieu of $35,000 bail.

Stewart was arrested for suspicion of distributing a controlled substance, participation in a criminal street gang and criminal conspiracy. He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

All five alleged suspects are scheduled to be arraigned at the Riverside Hall of Justice on April 8, at 8 a.m.
