Hemet PD seeking public’s help in locating bank robbery suspect
Hemet Police officials are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a March robbery at a Chase Bank, located at 105 N. Cawston Avenue, in Hemet.
“We are looking for Jessie Tirado in connection to a recent bank robbery,” a police official wrote in a press release. “Please call HPD if you have any information about him or his whereabouts.”
Tirado allegedly entered the bank and approached a teller on March 24. He then allegedly demanded money from the teller and told the victim he had a gun. Although no weapon was seen, the teller gave Tirado money before he reportedly fled in a red vehicle.
Tirado is considered armed and dangerous and Hemet PD cautioned citizens, writing, “DO NOT approach or attempt to contact Tirado.”
Anyone with information about Tirado or his current location is encouraged to contact the Hemet Police Department at (95) 765-2400.
