MORENO VALLEY: Man arrested during proactive burglary suppression patrol

Deputies arrested Christopher King during a proactive patrol conducted by Moreno Valley PD’s Community Services Unit and Burglary Suppression Team.

MORENO VALLEY – A man was arrested during an operation aimed at reducing residential and vehicle burglaries Saturday, Jan. 7.

The subject was arrested in the area of Eucalyptus Avenue and Day Street in Moreno Valley, according to Riverside County Sergeant Aaron Kent.

The man, identified as Christopher King, 27, of Moreno Valley, was contacted by deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Moreno Valley Police station’s Community Services Unit and Burglary Suppression Team.

The team members contacted King while they were conducting proactive burglary suppression patrol in the area.

Officials found King to be in possession of burglary tools and suspected methamphetamine, according to Kent. He was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.

An online jail records search revealed King was cited and released from jail within hours of his arrest. He is scheduled to be arraigned at the Riverside Hall of Justice Feb. 21.

Trevor has been married for more than 26 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and has 13 children and 12 – soon to be 13 – grandchildren.
