HEMET: Three hospitalized after 3-vehicle wreck
HEMET — Three people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle collision that happened earlier this afternoon in Hemet. The crash happened at the intersection of Florida and Western Avenues.
City of Hemet Police and Fire Departments along with other emergency first responders were dispatched to the scene about 1:15 p.m., after receiving reports of the collision.
When officials arrived they found the wrecks of three vehicles, described as a green Toyota Camry, gold Ford F150, and silver Saturn SUV. Two of the vehicles sustained minor to moderate damage and the third sustained major, front-end damage.
The wreck left vehicle parts and debris strewn across Florida Avenue as well as on a nearby sidewalk and fluids from at least one of the vehicles drained onto the roadway and later had to be dried and removed.
After determining their were multiple injuries, officials at the scene requested two additional AMR ambulances respond to the accident. An AMR supervisor responded as well. Three people were eventually transported to Hemet Valley Hospital for further treatment.
While firefighter-paramedics evaluated and treated those injured in the crash officers investigated the cause of the accident. Their investigation is active and ongoing.
It was not yet known if alcohol or drug intoxication were contributing factors in the crash.

He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.
Trevor has been married for more than 27 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and has 13 children and 14 grandchildren.
