HEMET: Four hospitalized after three-car, chain reaction pile-up
HEMET — At least four people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle, chain reaction traffic collision, Monday afternoon, Feb. 12. The minor-injury accident happened at the intersection of Florida Avenue and Golden Village, near the Target Shopping Center, in Hemet.

City of Hemet Police and Fire Departments along with other emergency first responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash about 1:30 p.m., after the accident was reported to emergency dispatchers by an AMR ambulance crew heading to another, unrelated emergency call for service.
When officials arrived, they found three vehicles, described as a white Nissan, grey Saturn, and gold Hyundai, in the number two lane of traffic.
Firefighter-paramedics immediately began evaluating and treating those injured in the crash and requested a total of four ambulances to the scene. Four “elderly” victims were eventually transported to area hospitals for further evaluation and treatment, according to witnesses at the scene.
While investigating the cause of the crash officials called for the temporary closure of eastbound Florida and requested police volunteers to the scene to assist. The roadway was reopened at the conclusion of Hemet PD’s initial investigation, which is active and ongoing.

He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.
Trevor has been married for more than 27 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and has 13 children and 14 grandchildren.
