Victim, repeatedly stabbed during home invasion at Desert Palms MHP, critically injured
HEMET — Officials are investigating after a group of men allegedly stormed a Hemet mobile home and repeatedly stabbed a man late Sunday night, May 13, before fleeing the area on foot. According to witnesses at the scene, the uncooperative victim sustained multiple stab wounds and was eventually rushed to an area hospital.

City of Hemet Police and Fire personnel along with other emergency first responders were dispatched to the Desert Palms Mobile Home Park, located at 1097 North State Street in Hemet, after receiving reports of a stabbing at the location.
Officers began arriving within minutes of the dispatched call and located the bloody victim, described as an adult male, laying on the ground in front of space 15.
“The victim was suffering from major stab wounds,” Eddie George and John Strangis of Eye News Media reported from the scene. “According to witnesses, multiple subjects were seen storming the residence … attacking the victim and fleeing on foot.” (Click here to view Eye News Media’s 5 minute video from the scene.)
The victim was reportedly uncooperative with police and other rescue personnel and Timothy Franzese of Public Safety Incidents reported the man was argumentative and combative with officials and had to be calmed down and coaxed to go to the hospital.
“He was alert and talking,” Franzese explained, “but he was stabbed multiple times.”
According to Franzese, rescue personnel at the scene advised that the victim had not been stabbed in any vital locations and was expected to survive.
AMR eventually managed to load the uncooperative victim into a waiting ambulance and rushed him to an area hospital for further treatment.
After the victim was transported from the scene, blood soaked towels, the victim’s bloody shoes, pools of blood, and medical debris remained in front of a blue mobile home with white trim. The items and other evidence were documented, photographed and collected at the scene.

As the investigation was getting underway, officials cordoned off the area surrounding the mobile home where the victim was attacked and kept curious onlookers and residents of the park away from the crime scene. Based on the circumstances, Hemet PD detectives and forensic technicians responded to the scene and assisted with the investigation.
There is no known motive for the attack yet and no suspects have been publicly identified. Officials have not released any details or information regarding the incident or their investigation, which is active and ongoing and it was not known if officers have any leads to follow-up on at this time.
Police are searching for help identifying the attackers, and officials at the scene requested any available details or tips regarding their ongoing investigation.
