BREAKING: Officials at scene of Beaumont double rollover collision

BEAUMONT — Officials are at the scene of a two-vehicle, double rollover collision east of the 60 and 10 Freeway interchange at the Beaumont Ave. off ramp, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.

CHP, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire, and other emergency personnel, were dispatched to the scene about 11:20 a.m., after receiving reports of the two-vehicle, rollover crash.

When officials arrived they found two vehicles, described as a black SUV and white sedan, on the right side of the freeway. Both vehicles had overturned and witnesses and good Samaritans were stopped at the scene, providing aid and comfort to the vehicle’s occupants.

It was not immediately known if anyone was injured in the collision or if anyone was transported to hospitals for treatment.

As of 11:40 a.m., two tow trucks have been summoned to the scene to remove the wrecked vehicles.

CHP has not yet released any information regarding this crash and their investigation is ongoing at the scene.

During his time with the sheriff’s department, Trevor worked at several different stations; including Robert Presley Detention Center, Southwest Station in Temecula, Hemet/Valle Vista Station, Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center, and Lake Elsinore Station; along with other locations.

Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.

Trevor has been married for more than 28 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 14 – but soon to be 16 – grandchildren.
