Authorities seek Ontario, Moreno Valley burglary and car theft suspects

BIG BEAR LAKE — San Bernardino Sheriff’s officials are searching for an Inland Empire couple they say burglarized a Big Bear Lake home and stole a vehicle in late Oct.

According to officials the pair, who reside in Ontario and Moreno Valley, later tried using the victim’s credit cards at multiple locations and businesses.

Big Bear Sheriff’s Station said today their investigation led them to identity 34-year-old, Joey Fullen, of Ontario, and 42-year-old, Victoria Wetzlich, of Moreno Valley.

During the burglary, which happened on the 42000 block of La Cerena Ave. during the late evening or early morning hours of Oct. 24 and 25, the victim’s silver 2007 Chevrolet 4-door Cobalt as well as personal property was stolen. The stolen personal items included a driver’s license and credit/bank cards.

Fullen and Wetzlich were later captured on security cameras attempting to make charges using the stolen credit cards at multiple locations, including San Manuel Casino. All of the attempted charges were denied, according to officials.

Officials are searching for Joey Fullen and Victoria Wetzlich, who they allege burglarized a Big Bear Lake home and stole a victim’s car.

Fullen has been described as 6’1″ tall, 150 lbs, with brown hair, hazel eyes, and Wetzlich has been described as 5’6″ tall, 157 lbs., with blond hair, blue eyes.

Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.

Trevor has been married for more than 28 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 14 – but soon to be 16 – grandchildren.
