Temecula’s Novel Knights Teen Book Club to discuss “Everything, Everything”
TEMECULA — Teen fans of the 2015 book “Everything, Everything”, which was later turned into a box-office hit of the same name in 2017, are invited to join Temecula’s Novel Knights Teen Book Club next March for a “fun discussion” about the book and its subject.

The book, which inspired a hit movie and was written by Jamaican-American author Nicola Yoon, is about Madeline, a smart, curious, and imaginative, teen who is unable to leave the protection of the hermetically-sealed environment within her house because of an illness.
Despite the girl’s potentially life-threatening illness, Olly is the boy next door who won’t let Madeline’s illness stop the pair from being together.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Temecula Libraries, this program is for teens, Grades 7-12, and limited to 12 participants. The event will be held at the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library, at 30600 Pauba Road, in Temecula.
Copies of of the book Everything, Everything will be available for check out at the circulation desk prior to the event, scheduled for Monday, March 18, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Friends of the Temecula Libraries has said anyone wishing to attend should come prepared for a fun discussion and a few snacks.
Advance registration begins four weeks prior to scheduled programs and events and those wanting to attend can register at the library reception desk or by calling (951) 693-8900.

Trevor Montgomery, 47, moved last year to the Intermountain area of Shasta County from Riverside County and runs Riverside County News Source and Shasta County News Source. Additionally, he writes for several other news organizations; including Riverside County based newspapers, Valley News, The Valley Chronicle, and Anza Valley Outlook; as well as Bonsall/Fallbrook Village News in San Diego County and Mountain Echo in Shasta County.
Trevor spent 10 years in the U.S. Army as an Orthopedic Specialist before joining the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department in 1998. He was medically retired after losing his leg, breaking his back, and suffering both spinal cord and brain injuries in an off-duty accident. During his time with the sheriff’s department, Trevor worked at several different stations; including Robert Presley Detention Center, Southwest Station in Temecula, Hemet/Valle Vista Station, Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center, and Lake Elsinore Station; along with other locations.
Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.
Trevor has been married for more than 28 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 15 – but soon to be 16 – grandchildren.
