Motorcyclist killed in Perris two-vehicle wreck

PERRIS, Calif. — An Ontario motorcyclist was killed after a collision involving a passenger vehicle in Perris early Monday evening, June 15.

The deadly crash happened near the intersection of Lemon Ave. and Evans Rd, according to officials now investigating the fatal collision.

Deputies from Perris Sheriff’s Station, Cal Fire-Riverside firefighters, and AMR medics were dispatched to the scene about 6:50 p.m., after receiving reports of a major injury traffic collision, Riverside Sheriff’s Sgt. Hibbler has since reported.

Deputies arrived within minutes of the dispatched call and found a collision involving a motorcycle and a Honda Civic.

The motorcycle rider suffered major injuries and despite life-saving efforts the rider succumbed to his injuries at the scene.  

Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner officials have since identified 24-year-old, Daniel Guadiana, of Ontario, as the rider killed in Monday night’s crash. A coroner’s release indicated Guadiana was pronounced deceased at 6:57 p.m.

Members of the Perris Traffic Reconstruction Team responded to the scene  and have assumed the investigation, which is ongoing. 

“Alcohol does not appear to be a factor,” according to Riverside Sheriff’s Cpl. Lionel Murphy; who added that no other serious injuries or arrests happened as a result of the accident.

He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.

Trevor has been married for more than 29 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 16 grandchildren.
