We are failing ourselves and especially our children. Submitting to evil and treacherous designs leads our country toward absolute despotism. Despotic governments are run by one totalitarian or allow specific groups to rule roughshod over the people. Both of these terrible alternatives are thrust upon us by the usurpation of our country’s self-governing principles.

To what ends are we willing to subject ourselves and our children to despotism continually? What lessons are impressionable minds learning when they are allowed liberties at home but required to submit to abstract rules and regulations to participate in state-sponsored and extracurricular activities? Are we teaching the need to submit to government dictates as the master?

It has been a terrible compromise to submit to erroneous testings and humiliating mask mandates to engage in travel and commerce. The natural progression of these unethical mandates is the creation and enforcement of Covid detainment centers and threats of fines and imprisonment. People in power in Europe are even now working to scrap the Nurenburg codes to force their populations into submission effectively, and the Australian internment camps seemingly come straight out of Hitler’s playbook.

Other mandates, such as the one issued from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, are discriminating against a segment of the population in the attempt to require they wear a mask in the workplace should they refuse the unproven and, unfortunately, frequently fatal shots promulgated by the pharmaceutical industry. An industry, mind you, that scrapped vaccines in previous attempts to combat a corona variant (1976) after only a few deaths attributed to it (curiously, a cursory search of the aftermath does not now reveal the number of fatalities that caused the program to be shut down). The Pfizer documents released last week reveal over 1,200 deaths related to their trials in only two and one-half months. The insane policies propagandizing the efficacy of the jabs are subversive, unethical, and deadly.

It is heartbreaking that we continually have to deal with these arbitrary decisions made by people in authority. The abandonment of a plethora of long-standing rules and traditions favoring personal autonomy is alarming and cause for grave concern.

I value and respect most of the laws of these United States, but when a long train of abuses ensues, there is precedent for unilateral action. Is it now necessary for us to throw off such abuses? As our Declaration of Independence declares, “Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.”

The comforts we now enjoy for relatively low cost have softened our resolve and compelled us into abject compliance. However, I have observed that old deluder, Satan, continues to woo us away from the truth and the desire to know Christ and the power of His resurrection. The bureaucratic monstrosity created by President Nixon abandoned the necessity of good education to help draw us nearer to God. The fruit of this erroneous model is a godless culture welcoming every form of debauchery and submitting to every form of totalitarianism. This insanity must be refuted! Maybe the sacrifice of the comforts and arts we used to hold dear is necessary for a season so that Liberty might be returned to the people

Patrick Henry effectively galvanized the states resolve against a despotic king. I encourage you to read the entire speech, yet I close echoing his sentiment hoping to galvanize our resolve:

“Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offence, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the majesty of heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings. … Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!”

Robert Socha (so-ha), was born in southern California. He served 5 years 3 months active duty in the United States Air Force; honorably. After his service he took an Associate’s Degree in Practical Theology, where, through his studies, developed a deep love of God and Country and sincere appreciation of the value of Liberty. Robert and his beloved wife of 20 years are raising 4 beautiful Texan children. They moved to Hillsdale, Michigan, in 2013, to put their children in Hillsdale Academy. For almost 5 years he has worked in sales. He and his wife consider Michigan a hidden gem, and absolutely love this city and state they’ve adopted.

Trevor Montgomery, 49, moved in 2017 to the Intermountain area of Shasta County from Riverside County and runs Riverside County News Source (RCNS) and Shasta County News Source (SCNS).

Additionally, he writes or has written for several other news organizations; including Riverside County-based newspapers Valley News, Valley Chronicle, Anza Valley Outlook, and Hemet & San Jacinto Chronicle; the Bonsall/Fallbrook Village News in San Diego County; and Mountain Echo in Shasta County. He is also a regular contributor to Thin Blue Line TV and Law Enforcement News Network and has had his stories featured on news stations throughout the Southern California and North State regions.

Trevor spent 10 years in the U.S. Army as an Orthopedic Specialist before joining the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department in 1998. He was medically retired after losing his leg, breaking his back, and suffering both spinal cord and brain injuries in an off-duty accident. During his time with the sheriff’s department, Trevor worked at several different stations; including Robert Presley Detention Center, Southwest Station in Temecula, Hemet/Valle Vista Station, Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center, and Lake Elsinore Station; along with other locations.

Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.

Trevor has been married for more than 30 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 18 grandchildren.
