Wanted felon arrested after City of Shasta Lake search warrant uncovers fentanyl, meth, cash
CITY OF SHASTA LAKE, Calif., — Authorities say a wanted felon was arrested after a search warrant served at his City of Shasta Lake residence on Friday morning, March 4, led to the seizure of fentanyl and methamphetamine, along with extensive packaging, use, and sales-related paraphernalia and other indicia of ongoing narcotics trafficking and sales.
Several unlawfully possessed firearms magazines and ammunition and a leaded impact weapon were also seized as a result of the search warrant, which was served at a residence located on the 900 block of Mussel Shoals Avenue, according to officials.

As part of an ongoing, weeks-long investigation into suspected drug-related activity around the suspect’s home, deputies with the Shasta County Sheriff’s Shasta Lake Office and officials assigned to the Shasta Interagency Narcotics Task Force (SINTF) conducted enforcement and surveillance operations into the suspicious activity surrounding the residence, Shasta County Sheriff’s Sergeant Kody Bodner has since reported.

As part of their investigation, officials identified 34-year-old Brady Lee Wysock as the person who is in control of and lives at the residence, according to Bodnar
“Through their enforcement actions, deputies were able to gain enough information to prepare and serve a search warrant on the residence,” the Sergeant explained, saying the warrant was served shortly before 9 a.m. on Friday morning.
Upon serving the warrant, officials detained Wysock, along with two additional people, Bethany Stotts, 30, and Robert Fassbender, 32. All were detained without incident, according to Bodnar.
During the service of the warrant, officials discovered and seized twenty-four grams of fentanyl, two grams of methamphetamine, a small weight scale, more than $1,600 cash, extensive drug paraphernalia, drug packaging materials, pay/owe sheets, an illegal impact weapon, various rifle magazines, and firearm ammunition.
“Based on the current average purity levels of illicit fentanyl available with narcotic sales, the fentanyl seized during this incident was enough to produce approximately 1,200 potentially lethal doses to the average person,” Shasta County Sheriff’s Sergeant Kody Bodnar said after Friday’s arrest. Based on their investigative findings, officials arrested Wysock and he was later booked into the Shasta County Jail in Redding on suspicion of maintaining a place to sell narcotics, possession of a controlled narcotic, possession of a controlled substance, possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics for sale, possession of leaded cane, being a felon in possession of ammunition, and an outstanding warrant.
The other two occupants were released on scene without charges.
Online jail records indicate Wysock remains in custody in lieu of $27,500 bail or bond.
