5 Arrested In Temecula “John” Program

Temecula, Calif.; On Thursday, October 29, 2015, deputies assigned to the Temecula Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing team conducted an undercover “John” sting during which five men were arrested for solicitation of prostitution.

“John” programs concentrate on the men who solicit women for prostitution-related activities.  The focus of this particular program were subjects who arrange prostitution related activities using social media websites and choose a mutually agreed upon location to meet.

The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Southwest Detention Center.

About the incident and arrests, Sgt. Chris Gaskins wrote, “We continue to monitor social media sites and our efforts to stop this activity in Temecula will continue. The Temecula Police Department will continue to conduct operations in the city to concentrate on solicitation of prostitution and the men who seek their services. The Temecula Police Department is dedicated to maintaining a high quality of life and encourages citizens to report any suspicious activity they observe.”
