According to a press release from the Hemet Police Department, at about 10:20 a.m., The officers responded to the 4000 block of Bariloche Lane to conduct a welfare check on a resident after someone had called 911 to report the resident’s front door was found open and he could not be located.
While checking inside the location, officers located a white male adult, who was deceased, inside the residence. The victim showed obvious signs of traumatic injuries. Based on evidence at the scene as well as the victim’s condition, the death was immediately believed to have been the result of a homicide.
Detectives from the Hemet Police Department were called to the location and they assumed the investigation, which is active and ongoing.
Bariloche Ln. is a small street, that is known to be in a quiet area, that rarely sees incidents like this other than in the papers and on social media. Several residents who live around the residence where this incident occurred later stated they never even realized something had happened on their street until they read about it on social media pages. Others said there was no way to miss all the activity, that lasted long into the evening.
The day following the reported incident Bariloche Ln. had returned to the normal quiet street it usually is. However, in spite of what should have been a somber day on the unassuming street, several neighbors complained about the increase in vehicle and pedestrian traffic; from those wanting to get a closer look at the residence where this tragic incident occurred.
Per the press release from the Hemet Police Department, as of this writing, the investigation is ongoing and there is no further information to release at this time.
The Hemet Police Department has asked that anyone who might have information about this incident and investigation to immediately call Investigator Doug Klinzing at (951) 765-2423.

We never hear about what the City of Hemet is doing to protect its’ citizens. In the mean time more and more people are left to be violated on a daily basis. What are the normal law abiding people to do? Trapped here by a mortgage that we pay taxes on, and doing our best to survive the heinous behavior of these offenders. The city gets worse every year. It is disgusting the way innocent people suffer here. No protection, no justice, no voice for the people.
