CORONA – The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on Tuesday, December 15. The victim was identified as Jason Cushman, 38-years-old of Corona. Cushman’s time of death was listed as 8:43 p.m.

CORONA – On Tuesday, December 15, a fatal shooting occurred in the 2000 block of Ridgeview Terrace, in the unincorporated area of Riverside County, known as Coronita.
At about 8:30 p.m., the Riverside Sheriff’s Dispatch Center received several calls of gunshots being fired in the area and a man down call in the same area.
Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station were dispatched to the reported calls, at which time they located an adult male on the ground at or near the intersection of Ridgeview Terrace and Via Santiago.
The man, who has not been identified, pending notification of his family, was found to be suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was subsequently pronounced deceased at the location.
Investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Jurupa Valley Station responded and assumed the investigation.
In a press release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Sergeant Raymond Huskey wrote, “Deputies arrived and found a male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.”
