Man arrested for indecent exposure in Norco

Norco – Deputies arrested a man who was reportedly exposing himself in public while walking in the city of Norco at about 2 p.m., on April 5, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Sergeant Todd Pauling. The arrest came after a citizen reported seeing a man exposing himself while walking eastbound on Mountain Avenue.

When they arrived in the area, deputies located the alleged suspect walking south on Hamner Avenue. As deputies neared the man, they saw he was still exposing himself. Deputies detained the man, whom they identified as Patrick Cumpton, 22, of Riverside.

Deputies conducted an investigation into the alleged exposing. Based on witness statements as well as their own observations, deputies arrested Cumpton for indecent exposure and four outstanding arrest warrants.

Deputies transported Cumpton to the Robert Presley Detention Center, where he was booked for his charges.

“The Norco Sheriff’s Office is committed to the safety of the citizens of Norco and is vigilant in combating crime. Citizens are encouraged to call 911 when they believe a crime is being committed,” Pauling wrote in a press release.
