Riverside Police teach children about traffic safety during interactive presentation

rpd2RIVERSIDE – The Riverside Police Department’s Community Services Bureau set up their “Safety City” interactive display this morning, at the Catholic Charities Center of Hope daycare in the Casa Blanca neighborhood, in Riverside.

During the interactive presentation, officers taught the children about the different traffic signals and signs, railroad crossings, cross-walks, and other obstacles the may encounter while walking in their neighborhoods or to and from school.

rpd1The children had a great time learning about the different signals and signs and how to act when they encounter them.
