JURUPA VALLEY – A man was arrested April 14th, when the Jurupa Valley Special Enforcement Team served a search narcotics related warrant in the 8400 block of Donna Way, Jurupa Valley

The search warrant and arrest followed an investigation into suspected methamphetamine sales occurring at the location, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Sergeant Richard Heard.

“The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is committed to the safety of the citizens of Jurupa Valley, Heard said. “(We) will be vigilant in investigating all crimes of this nature.

During the service of the warrant, Kenneth Edward Lee, 53, of Jurupa Valley, was located and identified as the sole resident of the location.

During a search of the residence, deputies reportedly “about one and one half ounces of suspected methamphetamine, evidence indicating Lee was involved in methamphetamine sales, suspected heroin, illicit drug paraphernalia, several large capacity gun magazines and 18 firearms,” according to Heard.

At the conclusion of their investigation, Lee was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for Possession of Methamphetamine for sales and possession of large capacity magazines.

A jail records search revealed Lee was released from jail April 19, after posting $30,000 bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned at the Riverside Hall of Justice April 27, at 8 a.m.
