Resisting a peace officer with force
On 04/24/16, at approximately 11:43 a.m., an officer with the San Jacinto Police Department responded to a family disturbance in the 800 block of East Seventh Street. Bobby Branum III (19 yrs) walked towards the officer and shoved her. Branum was arrested for 69 PC, resisting a peace officer with force, and booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility.

Felony warrant / Possession of child pornography
On 04/23/16, at approximately 7:33 p.m., an officer with the San Jacinto Police Department contacted Lawrence Acevez (39 yrs) in the 2200 block of Lake Park Drive. Acevez was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant for 311.11(A) PC, possession of child pornography. Acevez was booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility.

Falsifying registration / Unlicensed driver
On 04/23/16, at approximately 1:36 p.m., an officer with the San Jacinto Police Department conducted a vehicle stop at Main Street and Mistletoe Avenue, on a white Ford Mustang. A records check of the vehicle’s license plate revealed the license plates were registered to a 2015 Jaguar. Martelle Barsz (37 yrs) was arrested for 4463(a)(1) VC, falsifying registration, and 12500(a) VC, driving without a license.

Vehicle Theft
On 04/23/16, at approximately 8:49 a.m., an officer with the San Jacinto Police Department was dispatched to a business in the 1100 block of South State Street reference a stolen vehicle. Juan Carlos Loera (25 yrs) was arrested for 10851 VC, vehicle theft and booked at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility.

Restraining order violation
On 04/19/16, at approximately 3:02 p.m., an officer with the San Jacinto Police Department was dispatched to a residence in the 1400 block of Lynden Trails reference a restraining order violation. Joshua Easley (35 yrs) was arrested for 273.6 PC, violation of a restraining order. Easley was booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility.
