Riverside Police seek help identifying 3 alleged car thieves
RIVERSIDE – Riverside Police officials are asking for the public’s help identifying three subjects who allegedly stole a victim’s car Wednesday, May 18. During their investigation, officers located CCTV video surveillance footage of the three alleged suspects and the vehicle they arrived in together.
At about 9 a.m., the three subjects allegedly worked together to steal a 2005 Nissan Murano from a local department store’s parking lot located in the 3300 Block of Arlington Avenue, in Riverside.
“All three suspects were seen arriving in a newer white Kia Optima with four doors and a black roof. An unknown Hispanic female and an unknown male suspect were seen inside the store near the victim,” according to a press release from the department.
The unidentified female suspect was seen exiting the store and stealing the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered in a pharmacy parking lot near Chicago Avenue.
