SAN JACINTO – A driver crashed into the garage of a residence Friday, May 27, leaving the victim temporarily trapped inside the vehicle. The accident occurred in the 1500 block of Heather Hill Drive, east of Fox Glen Drive. Heather Hill Drive is located in San Jacinto, just north of West 7th Street and west of South Lyon Avenue.

Deputies and other emergency first responders rushed to the location of the accident, which was reported to Riverside County emergency communications dispatchers at 6:17 p.m. The first responding deputy arrived at the location within one minute of the initially dispatched call.

The deputy immediately updated other responding deputies the victim inside the wrecked vehicle was alert and breathing, but trapped inside the vehicle. He then requested fire and paramedic personnel to continue their response to the location.

Family members of the victim who crashed into their neighbor’s garage were by the driver’s side within moments of the accident.

The victim reportedly suffered an unspecified medical emergency just before the accident occurred, according to Eddie George of Hemet News.

It was not immediately known if the driver was transported to a hospital for evaluation or treatment for the medical emergency that led to the accident. However, the driver was reportedly uninjured in the accident.

Although there were people inside the residence when the accident occurred, there were no reported injuries.
