Hemet Firefighters battle car blaze on Domenigoni Parkway

HEMET – Firefighters and other emergency first responders were dispatched to the area of Domenigoni Parkway west of Warren Road regarding a car that was reportedly on fire this evening, Monday, June 20.
Numerous 911 callers began flooding the City of Hemet Dispatch Center with reports that the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames. The first calls reporting the fire started coming in at 7:35 p.m.
At 7:42 p.m., first arriving fire personnel confirmed the vehicle was fully involved and they would be setting up to battle the blaze. They also requested Hemet Police officers to the location to assist with traffic control, as evening commuters began slowing to a crawl through the area.
Just four minutes after their arrival fire personnel reported the car fire had been successfully extinguished.
No information was immediately available regarding the driver or any passengers from inside the charred vehicle.
