Pride Pharmacy in Hemet robbed at gunpoint

HEMET – Hemet Police officials are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed Pride Pharmacy July 18th. The pharmacy is located at 2569 W. Florida Avenue, in Hemet.

Hemet Police 911 dispatchers received a 911 call at about 2:10 p.m. from a victim reporting an armed robbery that just occurred at the pharmacy.

The victim told dispatchers they were robbed at gunpoint and the suspect fled in a small compact vehicle. The victim could not describe the make or model of the car the suspect fled in.

During their investigation, officers learned the suspect entered the business, brandished a firearm and demanded narcotics. The suspect then fled the location with about $350 of an unspecified prescription medication.

The victim described the suspect as a white male, wearing a dark-colored hoodie. The suspect was covering his face and was wearing gloves during the robbery.

Hemet Police Officers conducted an extensive search of the area but they were not able to locate the suspect, according to police officials.
