Mounted Posse corrals suspect, brings wild Lake Elsinore pursuit to safe conclusion

LAKE ELSINORE – An out of control motorist who was seen driving on the sidewalk in Lake Elsinore led sheriff’s officials on a wild ride until he was stopped by dedicated members of the sheriff’s mounted posse.

The young driver was given a citation he will not soon forget.

The hot rodding youngster made his way all the way down the sidewalk in the middle of the downtown Lake Elsinore business district.

Riverside County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse members from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station intervened and managed to round him up and bring his wild ride to an end.

Judging by the open bottles in his car, there is little doubt the young driver was juiced up at the time of the traffic stop.

Posse members issued the driver a citation letting him know how much he is loved in Lake Elsinore.

After the traffic stop, the young hot rodder was released to the custody of his parents.
