UPDATE #4 Second arrest made in connection with Woodcrest murder
Rosa Grimsley was arrest Aug. 2 for harboring Joseph Morales, wanted for murdering a Michael Miller Jr. in Woodcrest.
MORENO VALLEY – Deputies assigned to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Fugitive Warrant Enforcement Team developed information that Joseph Morales was hiding at a relative’s residence in Moreno Valley while trying to elude arrest. The information the Fugitive Warrant Enforcement Team developed led them to a residence located in the 24000 block of Heil Drive in Moreno Valley Tuesday, Aug. 2.
“Morales was arrested at the residence and a relative, 37-year-old, Rosa Irene Grimsley, was arrested for harboring a fugitive,” Riverside Sheriff’s Sergeant Raymond Huskey wrote in a press release about the incident and arrest.
Both were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
A jail record search showed Grimsley was booked on suspicion of being an accessory to murder.
She was released the following day, Wednesday, Aug. 3 after posting $10,000 bail.
Grimsley is scheduled to be arraigned at the Riverside Hall of Justice September 15.
Morales remains in jail and is being held without bail. His next court date is scheduled for Aug. 18 at the Riverside Hall of Justice.
