SAN JACINTO: One dead, 1 injured after shooting

SAN JACINTO – Very few details have been released after two people were shot and one was fatally wounded Friday, Oct. 14. The pair were gunned down in the 400 block of N. Ramona Boulevard in San Jacinto.
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s San Jacinto Police Station responded the area at 6:40 p.m., after receiving a 911 report of a man down and bleeding, according to Riverside Sheriff’s Sergeant Raymond Huskey.
When deputies arrived they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

Paramedics treated the victims at the scene before transporting them both by ambulance to a local hospital.
Despite their efforts, one of the shooting victims succumbed to his injuries and he was pronounced dead by hospital staff.
The man’s identity is being withheld at this time pending the ongoing investigation and notification of his family, Huskey explained.
Investigators from the San Jacinto Police Department and the Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation.
