LAKE LESINORE – An early-morning injury traffic collision sent a car airborne in the area Casino Drive and Malaga Road in Lake Elsinore Oct. 29. After going airborne the car, described as a black Ford Mustang, landed in the backyard of a nearby residence causing damage to a fence on the property, according to Riverside Sheriff’s Sergeant Rick Garcia.
“Information gathered at the scene, coupled with statements made by the involved parties suggests that alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the cause of the collision,” Garcia explained in a press release about the crash. “The investigation is still ongoing.”
