BEAUMONT – City of Beaumont police officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a vehicle that was involved in a vehicle versus pedestrian collision that left a victim in critical condition. The incident happened Friday, Dec. 23, in the area of 4th Street and California Avenue south of I-10 in Beaumont.
Beaumont police officers responded to reports of the traffic collision about 5:08 p.m.
When officers arrived they located a victim on the railroad tracks suffering from major traumatic injuries from being hit by a vehicle. The vehicle involved in the collision had fled the scene prior to the officers arrival.
