NORCO: Two arrested after narcotics-related search warrant
NORCO – Sheriff’s officials arrested two Norco residents after they located narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and ammunition during the service of a narcotics related search warrant. Authorities arrested the pair at a private residence in the 3000 block of Sierra Avenue in Norco, Thursday, Feb. 16.
After the warrant service, authorities arrested Wendy Lee Kennedy, 39, and Robert Renfroe, 55 for a variety of charges. Both were later booked into jail at the Robert Presley Detention Center.
Deputies assigned to the Norco and Jurupa Valley sheriff’s station’s Special Enforcement Teams served the warrant about 10:45 a.m., according to Riverside Sheriff’s Sergeant Justin Rowan.
During the service of the search warrant deputies detained two adults inside the residence. They were later identified as Kennedy and Renfroe.
“During a search of the residence deputies located methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, associated drug paraphernalia and ammunition.” Rowan explained.
An online jail records search revealed Kennedy was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sales, possession of a controlled substance, being a felon in possession of ammunition, and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Kennedy was released the day after her arrest after posting $20,000 bail. Her next court date is scheduled at the Riverside Hall Of Justice April 17.
Renfroe was booked on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was cited and released the day of his arrest.
