Members of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Region 7 Gang Task Force arrested Miguel Angel Aguilar, 29, of Jurupa Valley.

He was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, being a felon in possession of drugs with a loaded firearm, being a gang member in possession of a loaded and unregistered firearm, being a felon in possession of ammunition and being under the influence of methamphetamine while armed, Riverside Sheriff’s Sergeant Frank Lodes explained in a written press release. He was also booked for his two felony warrants.

Gang Task Force members who contacted Aguilar inside the abandoned motor home about 1:45 p.m., immediately recognized the man as being a known member of a “criminal street gang,” said Lodes.

Officials determined Aguilar was being sought for an active Post Release Community Supervision felony warrant and an additional felony warrant for vehicle theft.

“Task Force officers conducted a probation search of the motor home and located a loaded firearm and methamphetamine,” according to Lodes.

An online jail record search revealed Aguilar remains in custody and is being held without bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned at the Riverside Hall Of Justice Sept. 25.
