HEMET: Pedestrian critically injured after hit and run collision
HEMET — A woman was seriously injured when she was struck by a car that fled the scene, Saturday evening, Nov. 18. The vehicle versus pedestrian collision happened in front of the Circle K on the 700 block of W. Florida Avenue in Hemet.
Officials say they have several leads they are following up on; however, they have not yet made any arrests related to the incident.
The victim, identified by family members as 28-year-old, Heidi Parker, remains hospitalized in critical condition.
City of Hemet Police and Fire officials were dispatched to the scene just after 6 p.m., after a bystander and others who witnessed the collision called 911.
When they arrived officials found Parker had sustained major, traumatic injuries and she was rushed to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment. According to family members, Parker is in intensive care recovering from her injuries.
Officers investigating the hit and run interviewed several witnesses and determined Parker was struck by a tan, four-door sedan. According to officials, the sedan has a broken windshield and front-end damage from striking Parker.
Officers are continuing their investigation, which is active and ongoing.

Trevor has been married for more than 27 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and has 13 children and 14 grandchildren.
