RIVERSIDE: Officials seek public’s help after 65-year-old dies from head injuries after Nov. beating
RIVERSIDE — Officials investigating the November death of an elderly man who suffered head injuries while being assaulted are seeking the public’s help gathering information about the fatal incident and trying to determine who was involved in the deadly beating.
Riverside police detectives are seeking information about a Nov. 9 beating that later resulted in the Kevin Alexander Daniel’s death.
According to officials, 65-year-old, Riverside resident, Kevin Alexander Daniels, walked into Riverside Community Hospital’s emergency room Saturday, Nov. 10, about 11:19 p.m., to be treated for head injuries.
Daniels reportedly told hospital staff that his injuries were the result of an assault that happened the previous day.
“Unfortunately, Mr. Daniels later died as a result of his injuries before much more information could be obtained,” Riverside police officials explained in a social media release seeking information about the case.
Detectives have asked for the public’s help in this homicide investigation and are seeking any and all information that could shed light on Daniel’s tragic death.
