BREAKING: Two men shot dead inside Corona home, officials investigating

CORONA — Officials are at the scene of a shooting in Corona that reportedly left two men dead earlier this afternoon. The fatal shooting happened at a residence on the 400 block of Roosevelt Street, between S. Promenade Ave. and Cresta Road, north of the 91 Freeway.

Although officials at the scene have indicated they do not believe that any suspects are outstanding and are investigating incident as a possible murder-suicide, Corona PD has asked that anyone with information about their ongoing investigation to contact detectives.

Corona Police Department responded to the home just before 3:30 pm, after receiving reports of shots fired inside the residence with two victims down at the scene.

When officers arrived they discovered two deceased men inside the home. It was not immediately known who called 911 to report the shooting or if officers located and detained anyone after the deadly incident.

Other than a brief social media release indicating the presence of “police activity” on the street, officials have not released any details regarding their investigation, which is in its earliest stages.

Based on the circumstances, Corona PD’s Robbery – Homicide Unit responded to the home and have assumed the investigation, which is ongoing.

As the day-long investigation was getting underway, area residents could be seen watching as the scene unfolded in their normally quiet neighborhood

Residents familiar with those who live at the home later said that a father and son resided inside the Corona home but according to officers at the scene, there were seven to nine other people inside the house when the deadly shooting happened.

According to police those people were removed from the home and later interviewed regarding the deadly incident.

An elderly woman was reportedly treated and transported to an area hospital.Officials have not specified what the woman was treated for.

He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.

Trevor has been married for more than 27 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and has 13 children and 14 – soon to be 15 – grandchildren.
