Murrieta PD’s Weekly Roundup 7/19

From Murrieta PD/Facebook

– You know when a child gets in trouble doing something that they totally shouldn’t be doing, and they tell you that it’s ok because their parents let them do it but you know that there’s no way that their parents would ever let them do it? #yepitsarunon #grammerpolice Yeah, it’s the same way when a parolee tells us that his parole agent is ok with letting them do something they know that they can’t do. Jesse Line tried to convince Officer Slaughter that his parole officer was ok with allowing him to violate the terms of his release. #itsok #riiight What Jesse didn’t expect was for Officer Slaughter to call his parole officer and check. #wegottheirnumber #Doh #busted #youknowthedrill #putyourhandsbehindyourback

– Sunday night Officers Pitetti and Drootin contacted Tori Maldonado and her boyfriend at a gas station. Unfortunately for Tori, she’s #nomagician. The officers saw her try and throw away the drugs she had hidden in her shirt. #youknowwhatscoming #notmydrugs #notmyshirt Tori spent the rest of the evening in #thebyrdhouse.

– One would think that if you’re out committing crime, you would do your best not to stand out. Putting two different license plates on your car does not help you blend in. #justahint Monday morning Officer Baker contacted Danielle Symiczek and Ruben Miranda in their vehicle. Officer Baker found out that they both had warrants and Danielle was on #probation. Inside the car, the officers found #meth, a scale and paraphernalia. #doesnteveryonehavethatintheircar They were both arrested and booked into #CBDC

– Tuesday morning officers and medics responded to Murrieta Hot Springs and Winchester Road to check on a driver that was slumped over the wheel of a car. Once officers arrived on scene, it was quickly determined that the driver, Jennifer Frey, was #DUI and had passed out while waiting at the light. We know that the red light at that intersection can seem to last forever. #wevebeenstucktheretoo I’m sure she doesn’t think so since she was arrested, but she’s actually pretty lucky considering how fast traffic coming down Winchester road can be. #slowdown #itsnotarace #yourejustgoingtoendupatthenextredlight

– Tuesday night officers responded to the Waterstone Apartment complex regarding several reports of a gunshot being heard in the area. #thatwasntafirework Officers responded and quickly located the parties involved. According to one of the victims, the suspect, Michael Munoz had been speeding in his car through the parking lot and the victim had yelled at him to slow down. #slowyourroll A short time later, Michael exited his residence and began yelling at the victim as well as three bystanders and brandished a handgun, firing at least one round. #roadrage #notveryneighborly Officers arrested Michael on an array of charges and booked him into #CBDC.

– Four weeks until the kids go back to school. #incaseyouwerewondering
