– Not long after Officer Devey’s arrest, Officer Pitetti located an occupied stolen vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. #busynight David Garcia was arrested for the stolen vehicle and Jason Jackson was arrested for possessing meth and violating his probation.
– There was something in the air this week because Wednesday at 2:30 a.m. Officer Valle located another occupied stolen vehicle. #saywhat See, Officer Valle knows that #nothinggoodhappensaftermidnight which is probably why she chooses to work at night. #itsherthing Officer Valle was conducting extra patrol in a shopping center when she saw a vehicle pull into the gas station. There’s not much traffic at 2:30 a.m. so the three occupants piqued her interest. As she watched from a distance, it became obvious that the trio noticed Officer Valle and they tried to move their car out of her view. #heynow #whatchadoin Officer Valle decided that she needed to meet the mysterious three. #itsthepolitethingtodo #nicetomeetyou After the proper introductions were made, it was discovered that the driver, Christopher Munoz was on probation and the passenger Selene Dominguez was on supervised release (aka probation.) #youdontsay The rear passenger was “sleeping” and woke up after two additional officers arrived. #funnyhowthathappens After rising Peter Calzada from his slumber, it was discovered that he was on #PRCS. While the officers were speaking with the three, dispatch informed them that the vehicle that the three were driving had been stolen from Riverside. #gride #rollinstolen To recap; one on probation, one on supervised release, one on #PRCS all in a stolen car. #trifecta The meth, heroin and shaved keys were just a bonus. #offtotheByrdhouse #buhbye
– Officer Leitch conducted a vehicle check Monday morning and met Anthony Francis. Unfortunately for Anthony, he had a felony warrant. It was off to #CBDC for him.
– In case you were wondering what the SET team was up to, they arrested Jose Torres Wednesday for a whole bunch of things. Basically, you shouldn’t sell meth and have guns all while you’re a convicted felon. #FYI #incaseyouwerewondering #itsfrownedupon
– Officers Bradley and Santrick were busy last night. Both conducted traffic stops around midnight and both made arrests. One for parole violation and the other for having two outstanding felony warrants. It was a race to #thebyrdhouse. #Iwonderwhowon

Trevor Montgomery, 47, recently moved to the Intermountain area of Shasta County from Riverside County and runs Riverside County News Source and Shasta County News Source. Additionally, he writes for several other news organizations; including Riverside County based newspapers, Valley News, The Valley Chronicle, and Anza Valley Outlook; as well as Bonsall/Fallbrook Village News in San Diego County and Mountain Echo in Shasta County.
Trevor spent 10 years in the U.S. Army as an Orthopedic Specialist before joining the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department in 1998. He was medically retired after losing his leg, breaking his back, and suffering both spinal cord and brain injuries in an off-duty accident. During his time with the sheriff’s department, Trevor worked at several different stations; including Robert Presley Detention Center, Southwest Station in Temecula, Hemet/Valle Vista Station, Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center, and Lake Elsinore Station; along with other locations.
Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.
Trevor has been married for more than 28 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 14 – but soon to be 16 – grandchildren.
