With her love of art, Fox focuses on a stroke of realism blended with hints of the abstract or impressionist styles thrown in. Her philosophy is that everyone should have beauty of art around them.

She began by studying on her own and then had an artistic opportunity come her way when she was accepted for the Fundamentals of Art course from the Art Instruction School of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She completing her course of study with them 2007.

It was shortly thereafter in May, 2008, that her abstract “Move of the Spirit” done in pastels, was sold. Several sold pieces later, she continues to study under numerous area artists and loves to teach others.

“Looking at art changes us, but creating art gives even greater health benefits,” Fox recently explained, saying, it was a lifelong dream of hers to become a painter.

By teaching, she affords others the opportunity to know the effect and power creating works of art provides.

Her “Third Saturday Paint Party” classes at the Hemet Art Gallery, at 144 N Harvard are held on the third Saturday of each month, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There is a small fee of $20 that covers supplies for a complete painting.
