According to organizers, Coffee with the Chief “is meant to be an informal opportunity for the general public to meet with Chief Johnson and engage in transparent dialect for the good of the City.”
During the monthly gatherings, attendees are encouraged “to exchange information, express concerns, and explore ideas to enhance our community,” according to the event’s Facebook release.
At next week’s gathering, Chief Johnson will be providing informational updates about the Department, personnel assignments, and projects aimed at protecting “our North State way of life,” organizers explained.
The next event, which happens monthly, is scheduled to take place Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 7:30 a.m., at Vittles Family Restaurant, at 2385 North Street, in Anderson. For more information contact Anderson PD at (530) 378-6600, or visit them on Facebook.
