Enjoy a good laugh with Murrieta PD’s Weekly Roundup 2/7

From Murrieta Police Department:

In today’s “Lighter Side of the News…”

– Thursday night Officer Hayes conducted a traffic stop and met Donald Adkins and Tameka Janeway. Donald forgot his name for a few minutes, but that’s probably because he knew he had violated his parole and there was a warrant out for him. #whatsmynameagain Tameka wasn’t very happy about being arrested for her four warrants. #nothappyatall She tried telling Officer Hayes that where she comes from, the police would have just let her go. #isthatright Officer Hayes explained that while in Murrieta, you go to jail for outstanding warrants. #nicetry #handsbehindyourback #maybeyoushouldjusttakecareofyourwarrants

– Friday morning, SET was back at it. #hookinandbookin #cantstopwontstop #dontstopgetitgetit Huddie Hill was arrested after an investigation and subsequent search warrant. Huddie had some ecstasy, methadone, methamphetamine, heroin and a plethora of pharmaceuticals. #aplethora #amultitude #awholebunch As if that wasn’t enough, Mr. Hill was also in possession of a rifle and ammunition and as a convicted felon, he wasn’t allowed to have them. One would think with a criminal history going back 40 years, he would have remembered that.

– Saturday evening officers responded to a disturbance at a local hospital. When officers arrived and found Estevan Arellano yelling and making a scene. As the officers talked to Estevan, they determined that he was under the influence of a controlled substance. When the officers placed Estevan under arrest, Estevan decided that he wasn’t going to go with the flow and began resisting and not complying with the officer’s commands. After a struggle Estevan was placed under arrest and booked into #CBDC for being under the influence, possession of meth, resisting arrest and injuring officers. #nothinghumorousaboutthis #officersafety #priority

– Sunday night Officer Pitetti arrested Jonathan Gonzalez for driving under the influence. Yes marijuana is now legal, but smoking it and then driving still is not. #itsstilldrivingundertheinfluence #DUI #notcool

– Tuesday night was Ladies Night here at MPD. #ladiesnight

• First Corporal Moll and his MPD Explorer ride-a-long contacted Joanne Flores and her male companion during a traffic stop. Ms. Flores had some meth so she spent the rest of the night at #thebyrdhouse while her companion was left all alone.

• Officer Pitetti contacted Cynthia Hall and her male friend during a traffic stop. Turns out that Cynthia had some outstanding warrants and some meth so she went with Officer Pitetti to #thebyrdhouse and her friend went home alone.

• It wasn’t long before Corporal Moll and his Explorer partner were back on patrol and that’s when they met Kristina Morris and her male companion. Unfortunately for Kristina, she had some outstanding warrants and some meth. It was back to #thebyrdhouse for Corporal Moll. #dotheyhaveapunchcard #aftertenbookingsyougotothefrontoftheline

• Officer Valle #youknewshewasoutthere contacted Crystal Alford and her male friend in a parked car at 2:30 am. #hmmmmm Crystal was found to be on parole and had an outstanding felony warrant, so you know where she finished her night.

– The #PPCT team was out and about yesterday when they contacted Scott Kane and Michelle Hallberg during a traffic stop. Turns out that Scott had a felony warrant and five misdemeanor warrants. #handcuffsforhim Michelle had two misdemeanor warrants and some meth. #handcuffsforher Coincidentally, Michelle was actually supposed to be in court when the #PPCT team contacted them. #missedcourt #meansawarrant Ironically, had she gone to court like she was supposed to, she wouldn’t have been arrested by the #PPCT team. #handleyourbusiness #andyouwonthavetheseproblems

Did you know that the Chinese New Year was on Tuesday? 2019 is the Year of the Pig. 😁🐷 Let’s have a great year! #sometimesitjustwritesitsself #copjokes #dowecelebratewithdonuts
