Search on for missing woman, last seen leaving friend’s LQ home

Officials are asking for the public’s help locating a woman who was last seen leaving a friend’s La Quinta house last Tuesday, Feb. 5. According to family and friends, the missing woman, 33-year-old, Rebecca Rachel Modrall, has not been seen or heard from since.

Deputies assigned to Rancho Mirage Police Department began investigating Rebecca’s disappearance the next afternoon, after a concerned family member reported that she had never returned to her Rancho Mirage home after leaving her friend’s house in La Quinta, Riverside Sheriff’s Sgt. Frank M. Schiavone later explained.

Rancho Mirage PD investigators are now asking the public’s help to locate the missing woman.

“As you can imagine, this has been a very difficult time for myself and all the family,” Rebecca’s mother Sarah Modrall later said, explaining she is praying her daughter is located soon.

During his time with the sheriff’s department, Trevor worked at several different stations; including Robert Presley Detention Center, Southwest Station in Temecula, Hemet/Valle Vista Station, Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center, and Lake Elsinore Station; along with other locations.

Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.

Trevor has been married for more than 28 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 15 – but soon to be 16 – grandchildren.
