– Thursday afternoon the #PACT team, not to be confused with the #PPCT team, conducted a probation check at Cory Kingery’s house. When you’re on #PRCS probation, you have some pretty specific terms that you have to follow. They’re usually pretty clear too, like “don’t break the law” and “don’t associate with people on parole or probation.” Seems pretty clear, right? Well, Cory needed to be reminded that possessing meth and a stolen car violates his #PRCS. So did hanging out with Christina Sorensen because she’s on parole. They both went to jail for violating their terms of their respective parole and probation. #itsprettyclear #dontbreakthelaw #andyoudontgotojail

– Thursday night officers were contacted by a citizen that was concerned about an occupied vehicle parked in a parking lot. As the officers approached the vehicle, they could see that the windows were fogged up and it was occupied by two scantily clad adults. #heywhereareyourpants I guess after a couple glasses of wine and an already paid for babysitter, you seize the moment. #ifthecarsarockin #carpediem #hankypanky #butnexttimefindabetterplace

– The SET team was out doing their thing on Friday when they served a search warrant at a property in Temecula. They recovered two stolen motorcycles, meth, heroin, a couple guns, scales and narcotic packaging. #justanotherdaywiththeSETteam Andrew Romero was arrested for the possession of stolen vehicles, selling narcotics and violating his parole. Michael Romero was arrested for selling narcotics, being a felon in possession of a firearm and violating his probation. #stopcommittingcrime #andyoullstopgoingtojail #itsthateasy

– Friday night Officer Evans responded to a report of a suspicious person. The caller stated there was a male sitting on the front porch of a neighbor’s home. #goodneighbor When Officer Evans contacted “James” she could tell pretty quickly that “James” wasn’t telling the truth about who he really was. It turns out that “James” was really Dumaka Hill who just happened to be on #PRCS probation. Dumaka’s probation officer wasn’t happy to find out that he was lying to Officer Evans either so he got to go to jail.

– Saturday night Officer Leitch responded to report of a suspicious person at a gas station on California Oaks. #somanysuspiciouspeople Officer Leitch quickly located the male, Jesus Torres, and the vehicle he arrived in. Turns out that “his” car wasn’t really his car at all. It had been reported stolen out of Imperial Beach the day before. Jesus was arrested for being in possession of a stolen vehicle and burglary tools.

– FYI – possessing meth will always violate your probation. #always Aaron Quatman was reminded of that on Sunday.

– Officer Bradley conducted a traffic stop early Sunday morning and contacted Kelly Hunsaker. #nothinggoodhappensaftermidnight A DUI evaluation showed that Ms. Hunsaker was under the legal limit for alcohol, but a records check showed that she had an outstanding felony warrant. #notDUI #butstillgoingtojail

– Tuesday night Taleena Anzures was arrested for shoplifting after she left the business with 21 unpaid for items hidden in her purse. Those 21 items weren’t small either. It makes you wonder how big was that purse? #thatsabigpurse

– Officer Gannuscio checked on an occupied vehicle Wednesday night and contacted the three occupants. The night ended a bit early for two of them thanks to some meth, narcotics paraphernalia, and violating probation. Hans Schneider and Bethany Pillar spent the rest of the night in #thebyrdhouse while the third wheel went home. #thirdwheel #awkward

Trevor Montgomery, 47, moved last year to the Intermountain area of Shasta County from Riverside County and runs Riverside County News Source and Shasta County News Source. Additionally, he writes for several other news organizations; including Riverside County based newspapers, Valley News, The Valley Chronicle, and Anza Valley Outlook; as well as Bonsall/Fallbrook Village News in San Diego County and Mountain Echo in Shasta County.

Trevor spent 10 years in the U.S. Army as an Orthopedic Specialist before joining the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department in 1998. He was medically retired after losing his leg, breaking his back, and suffering both spinal cord and brain injuries in an off-duty accident. During his time with the sheriff’s department, Trevor worked at several different stations; including Robert Presley Detention Center, Southwest Station in Temecula, Hemet/Valle Vista Station, Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center, and Lake Elsinore Station; along with other locations.

Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.

Trevor has been married for more than 28 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 15 – but soon to be 16 – grandchildren.
